The most delicious burger in a bowl is here and ready in minutes.

This salad contains all the ingredients of a veggie burger except for the bread and is delicious.

In my burger bowl I like to use "minced lentils" because I love it. But you can use soy mince or whatever vegan mince you like. For my quick salad I use ready boiled lentils.

For your salad you will need green vegetables, such as lettuce, arugula or whatever else you want. Mix them with chopped tomato, onion and grated yellow cheese of your choice. I personally used vegan parmesan.

Finally, for your sauce you will need yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, white vinegar, garlic and onion powder. The buger bowl can be made vegan by simply replacing the yogurt with soy yogurt and the mayonnaise with vegan mayonnaise.

The perfect burger in a bowl is here and you can enjoy it without regrets or guilt.

Ingredients

for the "minced meat"

  • 400 gr. cooked lentils 
  • 1 tsp onion 
  • 1 tsp oregano 
  • 1/2 tsp garlic 
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt and black pepper 
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

for the salad 

  • 250 gr. green vegetables 
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 onion 
  • 1/2 cup shredded yellow cheese 

for the sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayo 
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 3 tbsp ketchup 
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar 
  • 1/2 tsp garlic 
  • 1/4 tsp onion 

Instructions 

  • Start by tossing your lentils in a non-stick pan along with the soy sauce. Mix a little and add all the spices. Add the onion and garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt and black pepper. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the sauce. Specifically, mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, white vinegar and onion and garlic powder. Stir and set aside.
  • Start by tossing your green vegetables upside down in a bowl. On top, add the chopped tomato, the onion, the grated yellow cheese. Add the minced lentils. Pour the sauce on top and mix well.
  • Your burger bowl is ready.
