Today we have oil free veggie burgers for those who are also fasting from oil.

The basic ingredients you will need are: white or red beans, potato, carrot, onion, garlic and oats.

The secrets to keeping your veggie burgers from falling apart:

Pulse the vegetable mixture in the food processor but do not overdo it. You want textures to be able to form patties.

My recipe needs 7-9 tbsp. oats. If you feel you need more oats, add more. You want to be able to shape the burgers with your hands.

You can also add an egg substitute. Mix in a jar 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed and 3 tbsp. water and set aside for 15 minutes. Then add the mixture to your burgers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red or white beans
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 7-9 tbsp oats
  • salt

Instructions 

  • Start by boiling the potatoes and carrots until soft.
  • Put all the ingredients in the blender and beat a little. Repeat until you have a moldable mixture.
  • Shape your burgers and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Halfway through the time, turn your burgers.

    Αμέσως τα έφτιαξα εφοσων είχα τα υλικά κ ειλικρινά τα λάτρεψα κ ευχαριστούμε διότι όλοι μας δείχνουν νηστίσιμα αλλά ξεχνάνε τις μέρες χωρίς λάδι
