Greek Donuts Without Sugar

You can now enjoy these beach donuts at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (+ 2 tbsp) almond milk
  • 1 tbsp banana
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

for serving

  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vegan butter

Instructions 

  • Start by mixing in a bowl the flour, the sugar substitute from monk fruit (which has 0 calories), the baking powder, the salt, the cinnamon.
  • Add the melted banana, almond milk and vanilla.
  • Stir and pour the mixture into the donut pan. Fill up to 2/3 of each hole because the donuts will swell during baking.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 9-10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup. sugar substitute from monk fruit, 1/4 tbsp. cinnamon.
  • Melt the vegan butter and spread it on each donut. Then dip them in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Enjoy.
