Homemade condensed milk that needs just 2 ingredients to prepare.
- 1 can of full fat coconut milk
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or coconut sugar
Put the coconut milk and the sweetener in a saucepan.
Once they get a boil lower the temperature and let your ingredients boil for about 45 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes.
Your sweetened condensed milk will be darker if you use coconut sugar or maple syrup.
Remove from the heat and allow your sweetened condensed milk to cool.
You can keep your sweetened condensed milk for up to 10 days in the refrigerator.
