A quick, easy and delicious Indian food that is perfect for meal prep.
- 400 gr. cooked kidney beans
- 1/2 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt
- 1/2 tsp chilli
- 1,5 tsp garam masala
Start by heating 1/2 tbsp. olive oil. Throw in the onion, garlic and cumin. Saute for 3-4 minutes.
Add the tomato and cook for another 5 minutes. Add 150 ml of hot water and salt. Cook for another 7-8 minutes.
Transfer the entire content of the pot to a blender and blend until you have a perfect sauce.
In your pot, pour 2 tbsp. olive oil. Add the chili powder. Stir for 30 seconds Pour in your sauce.
Add the garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the red beans and a little more water (about 180 ml).
Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
