The easiest, healthiest, bun in the world is here and you have to try it.
- 60 gr. cooked cauliflower
- 60 gr. almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- salt
- spice mix
Start by dropping cauliflower florets into boiling salted water.
Boil for 8 minutes. Drain and put the cauliflower in the food processor.
Add the egg, almond flour, baking powder, salt and spice mix to the mixture. Beat until the ingredients are homogeneous and transfer the mixture to a small pan. If you want, sprinkle seeds of your choice on top. I threw in some flaxseed and some oat flakes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let your bun cool slightly and cut it in half horizontally.
Fill it with whatever you want and enjoy.
