Beans Puttanesca on Toast

A great, quick meal that you will want to eat again and again.

Ingredients

  • 250 gr. boiled beans
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50 gr. olives
  • 200 gr. tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 big slices of bread

Instructions 

  • Start by heating the olive oil in a saucepan. Once heated, throw in the onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the olives and cook for another 2 minutes. Pour in the beans, stir and add the tomato sauce.
  • Let all the ingredients cook together for another 8-9 minutes. The putanesca beans are ready.
  • Meanwhile, brush 2 large slices of bread with olive oil and toast them in the toaster. Rub the surface of the bread with garlic and put beans on top. Enjoy.
