Turkish Recipe with Pasta, Minced Mushrooms and Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • 160 gr. pasta
  • 130 gr. mushrooms 
  • 50 gr. walnuts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion 
  • 3/4 cup tomatoes 
  • 1/2 tbsp tomato paste 
  • salt
  • black pepper 
  • thyme 
  • 1/4 tsp paprika 
  • 1/4 tsp sweet paprika 

For the yogurt sauce

  • 100 gr. yogurt 
  • 2 garlic cloves 
  • salt 

Instructions 

  • We start by boiling the pasta in plenty of salted water. As soon as they boil, drain and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, pour 1 tbsp. olive oil. As soon as it heats up, add the onion and mushrooms. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the walnuts and mix. Add the tomato paste.
  • After 2-3 minutes, add the tomatoes. Add salt, black pepper, thyme, smoked and sweet paprika. Let all the ingredients cook together and set aside.
  • For the yogurt sauce, simply mix the yogurt, garlic and salt in a bowl.
  • Spread some yogurt sauce on a plate. Put the pasta on top, add another yogurt sauce and finish with the minced mushrooms. Enjoy.
