So I will say that I made rice balls. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The classic arancini are made with rice for risotto and mozzarella and are fried. These rice balls are made with classic rice for pilaf and are stuffed with vegan feta. In order not to throw it away and try to follow the logic of #zerofoodwaste as much as I can, I decided to make rice balls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I added a little olive oil and a little water to my rice, added some spices and beat it in the multi. This created a slightly sticky mixture which I divided into 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I put the first mixture on a piece of foil, spread it with my hands carefully and put a vegan feta cube in the center. I closed the membrane forming a pouch. I rotated the pouch to create a ball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I opened the film and transferred my ball to non-stick paper in a baking tray. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I continued with the other mixtures. I baked it in a preheated oven for 40 minutes and ate my rice croquettes with a simple vegan yogurt-vegan mayonnaise sauce I had in the fridge the day before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tips and Substitutions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can use risotto instead of rice for pilaf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not use yellow cheese instead of feta cheese because it will probably come out of the ball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of cheese you can put roasted mushrooms or other roasted vegetables of your choice.
