To make the perfect red sauce you will need cherry tomatoes, onion and garlic, some olive oil and spices. Nothing else.

Oven Baked Red Sauce for Spaghetti

The easiest baked pasta is here. And it is also vegan.

Ingredients

  • 150 gr spaghetti
  • 500 gr. cherry tomatoes
  • 1 onion cut in the middle
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • salt
  • spice mix
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions 

  • Start by putting the cherry tomatoes, onion and garlic in a pan.
  • Add olive oil, salt and the spice mixture and bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180C.
  • In the meantime, boil your spaghetti according to the instructions on the package in salted water.
  • Drain them and keep 2-3 tbsp. water.
  • Put the boiled vegetables in a blender and beat them until they become a sauce.
  • Pour the sauce back into the pan. Add the water you reserved and throw in the spaghetti. Stir and enjoy.
