When I was little, my mother used to make baked potatoes very often, those classic, very tasty ones that we rarely eat at my house anymore. So I remembered them, and decided to make them.
Personally, I have used to make baked potatoes like french fries (like here and here) but these classic potatoes are also amazing.
INGREDIENTS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Potatoes: It doesn't matter what potatoes you will use.
Vegetable stock: If it doesn't have vegetable stock, you can use plain water, but the stock will definitely make your potatoes even tastier.
Olive oil: Unfortunately, in this recipe we can not add olive oil. It is necessary to make baked potatoes classic, like mom's and grandma's.
Lemon juice: We will need juice from one lemon.
Garlic: For me garlic is also essential. If you can't do it at all, you can just skip it.

Ingredients
- 6 potatoes sliced into wedges
- 1,5 cup vegetable stock
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 lemon juice
- 7 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oregano
- black pepper
Instructions
- All you have to do is mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Put your potatoes in a pan and pour the mixed ingredients on top.
- Roast in preheated oven in 200 C for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Halfway through the cooking time, take juice from the pan with a spoon and pour it over your potatoes. Continue roasting.
- Your potatoes are ready.
