In order to make the mushrooms ala creme you will need: mushrooms, coconut milk, onion, garlic, vegetable stock, some flour (which can be gluten-free), soy sauce, mustard and spices.

The easiest sauce for pasta or whatever else you want.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 gr. mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp flour or gluten free flour
  • 1,5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 200 ml. vegetable stock
  • 60 ml. coconut milk
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley

Instructions 

  • Start by heating the olive oil in a large pan. Add the mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the onion and garlic. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the flour, soy sauce and broth. Stir for 1-2 minutes and add the mustard, salt, pepper and coconut milk.
  • Cover, reduce the temperature to the lowest and leave for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Uncover, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
