To heat the mashed potatoes on the stove, put a pot of water on the stove. As soon as it starts to boil, place a fireproof bowl in which you have put the puree on top of the pot. Add a little butter and a little milk and stir until the butter melts and your mashed potatoes is warm. Don't overdo it because it can turn into gum.

How to reheat mashed potatoes in the oven

Preheat the oven to 180C. Add your puree to the pan and pour a little milk and a little butter on top. Put it in the oven and heat it up for a while. This way the puree will not dry out. 

Finally, if you want, you can put your puree in the freezer. One day before eating it, take it out of the freezer and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours before heating it up.
