The easiest, nutritious, delicious, healthy lunch that will fill you with beautiful feelings. Toasted bread with feta sauce, crispy chickpeas baked in the oven and lemon zest. It's a dream!

Once you try it you will want to eat it again and again. And you can do it since the recipe is very very very simple.

To make it you will need:

bread of your choice which you will toast in the toaster with a little olive oil.

chickpeas boiled, washed, drained and dried well with kitchen paper. In my recipe I used pre-boiled chickpeas. You can use them raw and boil them until soft.

vegan feta sauce(you will find the recipe here)

lemon zest

A great, nutritious, very tasty lunch.


  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1,5 cup boiled chickpeas
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • oregano
  • chilli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp feta sauce


  • Start by rinsing and drying the chickpeas thoroughly. Place them on a baking tray lined with non-stick paper. Toss in smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, chili powder, oregano, and olive oil.
  • Mix and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes until crispy. Check every now and then and mix them up.
  • Toast the bread slices either in the oven or in the toaster. Spread feta sauce on the bread and pour the chickpeas on top. Finish with lemon zest and a little olive oil. Enjoy.
