Just because you're vegan does not mean you can't have "fish".

This recipe is very simple and you will love it. What is vegan cod made of? From artichokes. Yes, you read that right. And they are delicious when cooked in the right way.
In addition to artichokes you will need some more ingredients and minimal time to prepare your vegan cod.

Tips
Instead of all-purpose flour you can use oat flour.
Nori is what will give a more fishy taste to your vegan cod. However, it is not a necessary item if you do not have it in your home.

Crispy Vegan Fish
Ingredients
for the wet mixture
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- turmeric
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup sparkling water
for serving
- dill
- lemon
Instructions
- Start by pouring the ingredients for the flour mixture into a bowl.
- Rinse the artichokes and drain. Preheat the oven to 190C.
- Add the artichokes to the flour mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl pour the ingredients for the liquid mixture. Add the artichokes and mix well.
- Transfer to non-stick paper in a baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes, turn the artichokes on the other side and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Serve with dill and lemon.
