I personally love it in pizza(see here)but also with spaghetti or noodles.
This broccoli pesto can fool even those who do not like broccoli as much as they certainly do not feel it when eating it. It is light, it is very easy and it is very very tasty.
The basic ingredients to make it are:
broccoli, basil
clove
nutritional yeast
olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest
salt and black pepper

Broccoli Pesto
Ingredients
- 1 cup broccoli
- 1/2 cup basil
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 big garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Put the broccoli in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and wash to stop the boiling process. Put all the ingredients for the pesto in the blender. Beat well. Add a little more olive oil if needed.
